More Digital TV Offers

As this Blog seems to get many visitors looking for Setanta voucher codes, I like to keep up to date with what is going on in the Digital TV world.

I got an email yesterday telling us that Dixons are offering a Sky "Pay once, watch forever" promotion. For £75 you can get access to 200 digital TV channels including BBC and ITV, plus 6 months viewing of their most popular entertainment package, "Variety and Knowledge".

This seems like quite a good deal to me, I have Freeview and am slightly disappointed by its limitations. Although I don't want to have hundreds of channels with little or nothing on. So is something that i might be interested in, as I don't like the idea of paying an extra £35 a month to watch some extra channels.

Although it doesn't give you access to it's Sport packages which is the reason why people are interested in Setanta, it does provide a good alternative to the expense of Full Sky and the limits of Freeview.

This package is obviously aimed at those people who might choose Virgin Media, and is probably a way of trying to counter the launch of its new channel Virgin1, now that they do not show Sky channels.

The Digital TV industry is certainly hotting up and there do seem to be some good deals around at the moment and probably more to follow.
